  • Developer / Technical Consultant

    Arbutus Solutions is a growing company with staff across Canada. We work with public and private sector clients to provide EPM solutions using Microsoft technologies.

    As an intermediate technical resource you will analyze, design and document technical solutions for our clients using Microsoft Technologies.

    Flexibility, initiative and a willingness to travel on occasion to meet with clients are required.

    KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

    • Designing and developing best practice solutions using Visual studio and other Microsoft technologies
    • Business analysis and technical writing
    • Product development
    • Server/network administration and troubleshooting
    • Travel: 25% on average

    PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Excellent communication skills and ability to meet with clients.
    • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and meet deadlines.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Self-starter and quick learner.
    • 2+ years development experience with Microsoft Technologies (Visual Studio, C#, asp.NET, SQL Server)
    • 2+ years IT experience overall.
    • 2+ years SharePoint experience an asset.
    • System administration and Project Server experience an asset.

  • Online Sales Manager

    Arbutus Solutions is a growing company with staff across Canada. We work with public and private sector clients to provide EPM solutions using Microsoft technologies.

    As the Online Sales Manager with Arbutus Solutions you will take a key position in developing the growth of our client base for Project Online. You will focus on driving revenue and ensuring the upmost in client care.

    You will represent Arbutus Solutions are events, webinars, and anywhere clients are looking for project portfolio management solutions. 

    KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

    • Drive revenue within accounts, meet new business revenue targets, maintain a healthy pipeline
    • Execute upon a comprehensive SaaS sales plan which includes utilization of current client relationships
    • Work with our marketing team to hone our message, increase awareness, strengthen our marketing programs

    PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • Experience selling Project Portfolio Management solutions
    • Desire for active sales, 3+ years of experience selling cloud software deals
    • Managed, on your own, the entire sales cycle (generation, negotiating, closing)
    • Proven ability to exceed sales quota
    • Ability to create and present professional-grade demos via web conferencing
    • Have a passionate, considerate, and professional attitude towards clients, colleagues, and your own personal productivity
    • Ability to manage multiple projects and assess competing priorities
    • Able to manage work that ranges from office, home, and travel settings

  • Summer Associate / Co-op Student

    Arbutus Solutions is a growing company with staff across Canada. We work with public and private sector clients to provide EPM solutions using Microsoft technologies.

    As a Co-Op Student Associate you will get the opportunity to learn first-hand what life is like as sales and marketing consultant. The program usually lasts for 3 months, depending on project and personal needs. With us you will get a chance to work on projects that are important to Arbutus Solutions.

    The position will have you working from Arbutus Solutions’ headquarters in Victoria, BC. The program will begin with orientation to our consulting and development methodologies. You will work with one of senior consultants to help guide you through our consultative approach.

    A mid-term review will be arranged to provide feedback on your performance – as well as any reviews your school requires. There will be opportunities throughout your stay to meet and network with a wide range of colleagues and other working professionals.

    After the placement, full-time career opportunities with Arbutus Solutions will be discussed.

    KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

    • Prepare marketing materials
    • Development of RFP response documents
    • Performing market analysis
    • Support the sales team with customer follow-ups and surveys
    • Update website and social media pages

    PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

    • A strong desire to pursue a marketing career
    • Demonstrated experience working independently with measurable results
    • Working understanding of general business processes (finance, marketing, accounting, etc)
    • Excellent communication skills and ability to meet with clients
    • Exceptional analytical skills complimented by persuasiveness and strong work ethic
